at the bottom of The Hour Glass

well God,
i sure would to see
a little light
at the end
of this tunnel.

i feel
i'm in a funnel.
spiraling.
round & round.
down & down.

sediment settling
at the bottom
of The Hour Glass.
just watchin'
my Life pass.

No Light.
No Sight.
No Bottom.
No Top.
No Way to Stop.

an Endless Tunnel.
a Bottomless Funnel.
Time that's passed,
at the bottom
of The Hour Glass

when we've reached the bottom of the hour glass it's time to turn it around again... i really like how this poem progresses...

There's always light, Stephen. It just so often gets lost in the woulda's, shoulda's coulda's.. I have no doubt you will open your eyes one day and see it again.
