you know the sky's not so gray today. i can feel winter slippin' away.
the wind's not so cold. winter's lost her hold & i ain't feelin' so old. the cloud's aren't so loud. my heart's not feelin' so proud. don't feel so alone even in a crowd. i can feel winter slippin' away. ready for a springtime day. a few more birds singin'. hummingbirds wingin' around, up & down. makin' their flutterin' sound. a few more leaves a leafin' out. a few more flowers flowerin' about. grass's turnin' green & i ain't feelin' so lean. the sun's a shinin'. my life's a rhymin'. thru with my whinin'. ready ta' begin. ready for good timin' again. i can feel winter slippin' away. ready for a springtime day.
