so i stiopped

decided ta' have a beer or two
guess i knew
that wouldn't do
but thought
i might try

time ta' drink
before it was noon

so i had beer
maybe two

then i figgered whisked do
so i chaged my drink
started not ta' think

i didn't blink

and i got high
& i got drunk

never did let

but i started before noon
drinkin & thinkin

so all i can say
wish it wadn't this way
wish i didn't remeber today
wish tomorrow
was another day

but if i drank
& i got drunk
wadn't a better palce to croon
