the same old faces
in the same old places
the same old fools
sittin' on the same old stools
life's past 'em by
the can't figger' out why
so they sit n' cry
without a tear
jsut drinkin'
that same old beer
just thinkin'
'bout what used ta' be
they can't see
what passed 'em by
same old fools
on the same old stools
won't never knows
'till they dies
'bout the whys
that's the ways
a drunk's lifes goes
they never knows
same old days
same old ways
same old stools
same old fools
