Today
i found my Self
a Poet
sittin' on the shelf
with nuthin' ta' say
no words
seem ta' come my way

nuthin' ta' do
but show it to you
no words today
no word play
no words that want to stay

i know it's true
& it makes me blue
not used ta' bein'
this way
no used ta' not seein'
words at play
not used ta' not havin' sumpin' ta' say

oh well
maybe another day
oh hell
the words will once again
begin
to flow
then i'll know
then it'll show
a Poet I Be
