this is the story
of my Life today
this is my worry
that i pass thru
each day
this is the fact
the act
the true
this is my Life
it's what i do
for the past year
i've lived with Death
with fear
more sickness than health
was near
all around me
all apart it found me
my parents wre old
and i was told
they'd die
so why
make the choice
the choice i did make
the choice i did take
to have & to hold
as they grew old
to let them die
here at home
to let them go on
yup,
this time last year
i knew death was near
man,
did that bring a tear
or two
but, what could i do
except let them die
except let them try
to die at home
not out there in the great unkown
so i brought them home
to not be alone
so they could die
in peace
if they try
at least
i gave it a try
good-bye
mom past away
when her time had come
when it was due
she passed thru
when her time was done
now my dad lives
he gives
it a SHOT
but he's not
the man that he was
'cause death
awaits
just waitin' to die
and i don't ask why
but he does
'cause
it's death that he fears
he hears
the past
he knows
life can't last
and me?
i ramble
i read
i gamble
i heed
old mystories
old histories
old used to be's
written' in books
past looks
at the future
no future to last
Death cast it's spell
on every day
Death stays
with me
in all that i says
i read books
i takes looks
at mysteries
at histories
written in
other minds i find
no answers
no questions
no questions
to answer
just hidin' away
in what books say
John D. McDonald
Ludlum too
Micahel Connely
they do what they do
Caleb Carr
be who you are
John Lecarre'
Lawrence Block
take stock
of the mystery
take stock of the history
of writer's & readers
bottom feeder's
who hide away
in fiction, in fact
how do we act
how do we know
how do we grow
we way do we go?
when Death
surronds us
where do we show
our selves
our beings
our seeings
when Death
grows so near
how do we feel
our fear
how do we deal
with things so real
i guess we let go
i guess we show
the fact
the act
we don't really know
we just grow
in the silence
we just know the violence
that Death
does bring
afterall
it is an inevital thing
we sing a song
in ryhtmn & time
we be poets
who rhyme
a Lifetime
nickels & Dimes
Dollars & cents
days spent
in rhymes
that's how
I spends my time
This book chronicles an infinite allegoric odyssey of Absolute Awakening in which a learned man, a mute man, and a recluse woman are the principal players. The mute and the recluse are the learned one's Teachers and Guides on his journey of Enlighten
