This dedicate to my sister Khadine who died from brain tumor.
Laying in the silence of the cold winter night
The tumors ticking on my brain
No where to run
No where to hide
My world's saturated into a million pieces
My body is disintegrating by the minutes
With only skin and bone seen
I have no laughter to share
The cries for help go out
But no one hears them
The tears trickle down my cheeks by the bucket full
I looked up to the sky
And ask God to take me home
But then this ray of light transcends on my soul
And brought tranquility back to my life
Now I am at peace and cry no more.
