A short poem I wrote today after talking to a sad young man.
I wish to be heard
But have never found the words to speak
I wish to be valued
But I have never accomplished one real thing
I watch the world
But no matter what I do, no one sees me
I am taught many things
And yet some how I haven’t been shown how to cope
I think I have found my answers
At the end of this rope

such despair; but its not what we do, it is WHOSE we are. ..this is so succinct and sparse, as if it was a metaphor, a foreshadowing of a shortened life,

A sad poem indeed and wonderfully written ... I hope he find the strength within himself to overcome life's adversities ... Welcome to the den ... look forward to reading more of your work ... hugs - Tiana
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
