There are no good or bad writers, I believe, only bad attitudes. Some write from the heart as best they could, while others "crush" their craft
out of spite or envy. Those who do so miss the purpose of the pen.

It's the pure vessel
of random thoughts that we tell,
Our messenger pen.
Draws vivid sketches
On a literal canvas,
It's a writer's brush.
It frolics the skies
Rhymed imagery for our eyes,
Word flights of the pen.
At times it's a dart
Piercing the unwary heart,
A critical pen.
It does bring healing
In tender words comforting,
A lenitive pen.
At best it's a cord
Which ties us of one accord,
That is friendship's pen.
And on angels' wings
Such joy in prayer it brings,
Heaven's gift.....the pen.

I agree with you. I think all types and levels of poetry are a gift to the ear and the eye. I really like how you said so much with so little, i doubt i could be as succint.
This is very good. You have put words to paper like no other! Beautifully penned. It made me think as I read your words----you are a great writer! Please don't ever stop. I love reading everything you write.

A very thoughtful poem. Best is also to hold your pen and look deep into your friend's life before writing something you may regret that you didn't understand them enough to make a wrongful judgment.
