this was written as a dedication for my Friend Meagan's Grandpa, whom she loss recently.

Sometimes, the wind will blow;

It will be a chill to others,

but

You will feel its warmth;

Sometimes, The rain will pour;

It will be cold and bothersome to others

But

You will enjoy it warmly and love its pace

During those times, I may cross your mind

And you will want to reach up and touch my face;

Don’t be saddened by me moving on,

It may be hard to accept, but now

I’m in a better place…

Enjoy God’s elements, the natural beauty all around you.

And when you see a flower,

A glorious tree

a lovely skyline

and wonderful people;

you will see me

in the midst of all great things..

Yes, you are in a better place with God.

Well done!

This is so true the words you have written to your friend. The loved ones who passed on are always with us. My hubby Tom is a butterfly spirit whom I never ever forget. He is in no pain, is simply joyfully living with his Lord. I try to remember that each day but tear still come that I cannot explain.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
