So long as ink will flow
I move my pen across this page
in fluid lines that show
one writer’s message to this age.

Some call it prophecy –
my purpose to speak truth, make known
what we might fail to see
if those called hid beneath a stone.

And, too, I write to heal –
the world, of course, but to begin
I convey what I feel,
write who, what, where, why, how and when.

To write is pleasure, too.
I serve imagination fair,
let ideas accrue,
then follow words from here to there.

Maybe some will take root,
though others be blown in the wind.
