Fifty Wishes

Half a century since this world received good gift of you.
Now I cannot see you, cannot touch you, cannot speak
to you, so I offer fifty golden wishes true .

No shaky ground or fault line beneath the place you stand,
but solid rock to stop your fall, never sinking sand.

Flames of Faith –
Undying fire lit by Creator God, protected
by Seraphim, fanned by those who support your work here.

Forever Friends –
The kind who sit beside you in a circle and say
everything in silence when others have gone their way.

Fields of Forgiveness –
White Lilies and Chrysanthemums… Iris for tender
care and passion of my purple love. Please remember.

Faithful Fellowship –
That never shuts its doors nor casts you out to be killed,
out into cold, dark world – world with cruel devils filled.

Farther than Familiar Fold –
Be not confined, restricted unnecessarily,
blind to what lies beyond familiar harbor, safe sea.

Abundance. More than you dreamed could be. Faith. Hope. And love.
Sky raining love. Sun shining love. World oozing love. Love.

Table in lonely wilderness and everlasting
banquet filled with bread of life and full cup of good cheer.

Aroma of goodness filling up moments of days,
scenting each evening with sweet-smelling and restful haze.

Always exuberance and celebratory songs –
power of music, laughter, enough to right all wrongs.

Floating Fuschia Flowers –
In a pond you can gaze into and see best in me,
forget ugly lies, recognize truth’s radiant beauty.

Fantastic Firmament –  
Skies with hues aplenty and clouds whose fibers shimmer;
storms of passion followed by sun bringing hope’s glimmer.

Fleeting Fears –  
No more anxiety, no more shame not yours to bear,
but reconciliation, contentment, God’s watch-care.

See all things illuminated by promise of God.
Take courage. Believe. Hold high Deliverer’s blessed rod.

Fullness Found –
Arms wrapped ‘round in celebration of healing, wholeness,
then flung wide joyfully to welcome those left hopeless.

Muscles well-toned, joints well-used, physical health assured,
a still-sharp mind, agility, all your heartaches cured.

Fine-Tuned Facilitation –
Continued success at building bridges where you can;
then, that gift refined, insight, wisdom to understand.

Well-watered soil of spirit sprouting new life like Spring
with roots reaching deeper, greater awareness to bring.
