Spiders multiply in recesses of my brain, heaped one upon the other – web of wanton thoughts they weave smooth and silky in appearance but only a trap to immobilize information retrieval system unaccustomed to this level of traffic.
This, not to mention goo in synaptic passageways – no wonder I can no longer recall simple words, phrases. One spider dies, and a hundred are born. What can it mean? Are patterns, intricacies of design labyrinth of sophisticated import or mere maze of confusion?

Wonderful visual which is just what you so acutely describe here, Dawn. Having suffered long-term fatigue, I can fully appreciate that "cotton-wool" feeling between the ears and behind the eyes; all I can say is, at least you feel that there is some activity eating away in the grey cells - whereas all I feel is a sense of ash disintegrating into dust leaving... a vacuum! You have painted a very vivid picture for those who have NO idea what we are talking about - lucky them!! Very well done! Kate xx
Dawn this is a fantastic poem!I know just how you feel;-)

Oh my, hate you have these little creepy things too. A while back I wrote about one of the members here who had problems with spiders in her brain. Go look, might make you feel better. The write even has one of my sketches.

Not trying to promote myself, just thought you would like to know more about spiders as if you don't have enough already. Take care.
'Better Without You'is a compelling narrative that explores the complexities of an affair, hidden secrets, and abuse. It also highlights a daughter's heartfelt journey as she cares for her mother who is battling dementia.
The Wholly Book of Exodus is humorous adult literature that features adult language, situations and content. It is the companion book of Jay Dubya's The Wholly Book of Genesis that satires the entire first book of the Bible.
