Your life-size form floats in me, occupies my thoughts, whispers wave upon wave of forgiveness. Simple wish-fulfillment; I know. I long for ocean’s magnificent movement.
Tonight, cool wind. Red-hot mercury plunges to record low. Mysterious spirit-hand massages my mind, banishes menacing thoughts. A device of my own making?
For how else am I to save myself but to invent someone real who matters to me who cares?
Deep, dark eyes of apparition bore columnar holes straight through to a deeper well, spring I did not know. Now, soul floods back to me.
I notice spark of joy back where it belongs in you. Mountain brook, so long blocked, brims with life, bubbles and flows again.
How is it possible that I sit here quite perfectly rational and know these words stream to you?
If I am the only to believe, deem me carried away, happily, by fantasy that came for me. If not, may life’s ebb, flow, take us to each other and to the sea.

I feel this an expression of searching, longing and convoluted feelings, Dawn, that are looking for echo and resonance with that one other special person in order to come into fulfillment and completeness. It's like an unfinished jigsaw puzzle that awaits the "missing bits". Questions and questing continues until that moment in life arrives. You are a very able writer in this field - at expressing inner struggles and bringing to light hidden depths. But surely all streams merge and do lead out into the seas eventually...then there is peace!
