In a time of mass confusion,
less truth, and more illusion,
hope seems a single shredded strand –
hard to grasp with this small hand.

What’s more, to reach beyond the break
is a leap of faith to take;
yet ’tis to be loved, lifted up,
to taste of God from the cup

That overflows with lasting love,
heals hurts within from above.
Made whole, we reach again to touch
wounded ones who ache so much.

With hearts for God’s restoration,
we come from every nation,
toil for reconciliation,
Spirit’s emancipation.

So in our time, when light may fade,
strength may wane and trust is frayed,
join with others courageously
the change you wish to see to be.
