Ten years ago today a beacon shone forth from your eyes and fearlessly I swam toward safe harbor, restoration of my traveling dreams.
Ten years ago today God showed me there was a lighthouse, provided then in you and opportunity you gave. You know life's tides have changed.
If light still shines for me, I cannot see. Clouded mystery conceals the sandy shore, and I’ve been set adrift upon lost love’s watery grave.
Ten years ago… Today, brief moment of triumph over the tempest that rages within, without, above, below, is but another loss.

Many see the light under the tunnel, but not all hear welcome in DAWN, here are your rewards. Most get a Rolls and mansion, bet i get a roller skate and a tent.
Absent from body present with the Lord, in an eye twinkle.
This is majestic, we can feel your sorrow, yet also the gratitude of having such a person, and knowing your not apart for long.
You stir the ashes of love, Dawn. This is the pain of it-losing that light and love in another's eyes where it once shined so brilliantly. Grand write...
A deep aching and longing for a time gone by is conveyed so exquisitely in your verses, Dawn. Though very sad, this poem shines, also.
