challenge poem - ocean minus the "e"
Boat rocks as night storm roars.
My calypso spirit soars.
Unafraid, bold and strong,
I sing an old sailor’s song,
navigating by stars and moon.
Morning brings rolling calm,
mist spray, and lull of balm.
Sunny dawn lights long way
toward far-flung and distant bay.
I am away, arriving soon.
For now, I soak salt spray,
shout out “Anchors Away!”
peace and love, Carole
Take care,
Sherry
