Trusting in the proximity of our safe passage, no matter how arduous the journey, to the now that is ours to live. Reaching for gratitude and letting grace rain down, this Thanksgiving and always I will treasure you. Peace and forgiveness. Dawn

[PS to readers: I have no idea what my title means, but I couldn't seem to change it. Oh well.. Happy Thanksgiving to all.]

Hell-bent but heaven-sent,
you are the only man on Earth
who made love come close, then
doused and distanced me with cold hate.

The clock ticks. Still I wait
for you to rise above our past,
shed your limitations,
dance free with me in timeless sky.

When I ask myself why
there should be such dichotomy,
conflict of heart and mind,
I am called to remember fall.

All that falls away, all
that grows from seed buried 'neath snow
brings to life memory
and lays to rest moments ill-spent.

What a profound and beautiful write Dawn! I pray life's duality
will fall to the blessing side for you in this situation and
you can once again know the love you deserve to have. Be happy
and blessed in all you do!

Love,
Eileen

This one is sooo well-written. For some reasons, I like the first few lines of this poem the most. Well-done!
