I was lost and found in a dream of forgetfulness. A giant’s fleshy hand reached through steel into the twisting tunnel of mind where, spiraling down, I had forgotten to believe that the spirit survives anything.
And with feathered fingers, something, some One, brushed the long and lonely strings of my heart until a song emerged to remind me of another time when you caught the sparkle in my eye and winked.
I remember how the angel choir burst that night into jubilant reverie and how odd it was to feel us lifting, spiraling upward together, becoming one again with each other and with the Holy other.
It is beyond my human understanding how such a beautiful truth can be buried so easily by one heart and slip through the tormented mind of another. And that is okay. This I heard the Spirit say.
Today, for the moment I caught the starry skies and cradled close their hope for forward momentum, I felt as if that giant hand was a protected perch where in sacred stillness light was born anew.

Dear Dawn,
The center stanza is central to this piece. This is a True Vision. We are Children of The Light.
This has the sacredness of vision or personal revelation, Dawn, in the sense that you have positively "felt" this through every inch of your fibre and mind, as opposed to just thinking or dreaming it. I know it is The Season, but reckon there is just as much thrill to this as would have been in a Shepherd's heart out there on the hills outside Bethlehem, having been privileged to witness an Angel throng! Deeply personal and perhaps mystical, but you have translated it for our minds and hearts very well. Bless you, Kate xx
This is the essence of being human, reaching and finding the light within our pain. Joy and misery are two faces of the same coin.
Beautiful and profound, Dawn...
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
