Tonight I saw a red sun resting on the horizon,
thought of you and wondered whether, when

you only want to get back home again, you
realize that we mere mortals, earthbound,

near-sighted, and slow to understand, are like
unto a cradle for your ever-evolving spirit,

which warms our hearts like a resplendent sun.
Sleep well tonight, brilliant one, and rise up

with misty dawn to shine your light, knowing
tonight in my dream, you’ll shine, shine on.

This red sun should be painted on a lampshade and the lamp never turned off, Dawn...as a tribute to Resplendent One...a Hallmark verse...shine on and on...
