And so here you are,
full circle friend,
back in the center
where you began,
where you rose and fell,
found your soul
and set it aside.
Do you know
what you know?

What you have come
here to understand is a truth
that now only you can convey
to others walking the perimeter,
moving back and forth aimlessly
along the diameter, stuck
and thinking there must be more.
I believe at last you know
where to begin.

Finally, you see dimension,
depth, the spherical significance
of leading from the centerpoint,
rotating the radius of your influence
and trusting that the circle itself
will stretch its bounds and become
something beyond a slivered disk.
Watch it burst into full joy.
See the atomic particles
come to life and embrace
the change you will bring.

And if I am to be
relegated to the space you see
as outside the revolution of your world,
then there I will reside, flickering, amazed
nonetheless at this ever-expanding
universe where stars are born
and give a gift even in their dying.

It is your time. In this world,
it has always been your time.
Move the Earth, then, lift the vision
of those standing in your circle,
watch the ripples expand outward,
but pause to glance into the darkening skies.
