Upside down
and inside out,
now surely you can see
how they turn themselves about
just to keep you in a jumble,
if not a freefall or a tumble.
In the dark
there is a light,
blinding and clear it shines;
yet, with everything you fight
the peace and grace of a new day,
the sweet love and joy of a new way.
All is well.
[This I know;
I've walked this way before.]
As you look now high and low
to find now what you think you've lost
you will feel bruised, jostled, bounced and tossed.
When you choose
to lay it down
and walk by faith not sight,
casting down false mask and crown,
then you will be the happy fool,
free from illusoion, pride and rule.
