I have come to the conclusion,
twenty years since, that it is I
who is the lucky one, chosen
to fly blindly through dark
to arrive alone in paradise,
not caring what others think
or who they judge me to be.
Having shattered the deathgrip
of the Society of Collusion and
allowed the dissolution of all
the fanciful illusion, those lies
the unevolved mind would keep
me spinning like precious platters
more valuable than me,
Here I stand free and in the clear,
ready to fly, happy as the little bird
who doesn't see the ugly vulture
and does not care to for she
is too busy singing the song
of her soul and tending to all
the green and growing things.
And so the days pass by and
there is no time lost once heaven
comes to Earth through places
in the heart. I am content without
the knowing of how to make a tent
and trusting life in each new day gift,
happy enough with this conclusion
and hoping to meet you again
by surprise some other day.
