From the grave where vainly you sealed me
I have decided, love of my life after life after life,
that I will no more be yoked to the death
you have decreed again and again for me.

Heart of my heart, soul of my soul,
I will carry you for I could not not do so
and hold to as above so below and all I know
by heart from age to age the same.

Look then to where you have been so satisfied
by prison bars of your fashioning and notice now
in the shaking of your firm foundation that I have
slipped into the realms always meant for us to share.

I waited faithfully for the coming day, for light
to break upon your dark domain. And so it has!
And still you have no eyes to see and banish, break
and bend me to your wanton, willful history.

Triviality. Partiality. Precarious particularity.
I shall be free from all conditions you have placed on me.
Your choice has been made in these 10,000 years
and more. Bright shining one, I have loved you

Through it all and, rise or fall, we will ever be one.
Nevertheless, I am done with dying for your cause
and meant to live, alone, all one, allowing for
mindless multiplicity but choosing all the same

to rise
to rise
to rise

Up from the grave down here on Earth,
through all time and space and kingdoms yet to come.
I have decided, love of my life after life after life,
there is no turning back. There is, in this love

No room for lack or looking back upon
your face I love. I have crossed over into
our Promised Land, where we were meant to be.
And I will lift high the flame of love, for it was

For freedom he set us free. I only wished
to welcome you, angel of God, for that is who
you are to me. In towering consequence,
colossal collapse, listen for my new song.

In the eyes you gaze upon, sweet child of my heart
you seized and stole, took from me forever, see
the dishonor of your deeds. Let the ground shake.
Let all creation groan and quake at your disdain.

But do not tarry on your way. Heed now this blinding light,
so beautiful on you. These 12 books of love have
shaped me, made me who I am, have led me back
to stand boldly, in confidence, and proclaim:

My friend, my friend, my friend... Let my echo
heal your heart and never allow you to part or be parted
from the remembrance of the better part in you.
I bid you now, in love, and in this life, adieu.
