Where I come from,
and by that I mean originally,
one sees all; and thus, the need
for being rooted in singular perspective
is by nature irrelevant and inconsequential.
There is no such thing as irreparability.
And to think of context would simply
work against the infinitely expanding
meaning of a body of being
or bodies of gift
ever in motion,
never parted
from love.
In the moments
you perhaps remember judicously
and think upon as misdeed
or rampant failure to be of fixed position
or find relevancy in casual causal consequence...
What you pervceive as lack of contextuality
was evidence, bountifully,
of true residence, eternal belonging—
the only way of human being
I knew to heal, uplift
or change false notion,
broken-hearted
lone dove.
In my defense,
though I seemed to act precipitously
or fail to listen or heed
your presumed authority of my mission,
my soul did not inform my mind... and my heart was with you; hence
I was lost in a system of partiality,
in seas of separation, drowning,
yet held to higher duty, being
suspended in rift
with one devotion:
whole-hearted
pure love.
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
