She didn't know how to let anger flow
because of what she was taught
and all she thought might be wrought
should she dare to defy
or seek to rectify
the thorny
situation.
Allow now this reinterpretation
and reflect on the meaning of joy,
the release of the burden she could not carry.
For to do otherwise will merely mean
the further attraction of
multiplying distraction,
replication, rippled pain.
There are those beyond who
have your back.
You lack nothing.
Love the child who lost laughter long ago,
who cast off so many "childish" ways
to be a wounded warrior enraged by it all.
Joy would in her wisdom say there is a
path, another way to right
the ship, to regain your sight.
Should you dare now to see
suffering, then fly free
from pain to
love's salvation.
Go where you will. Do what you want but still
find your peace and follow the river
home to happiness and true heritage of joy.
