I held your house and what was within it
through time as I slept on the forest floor
and kept my word, bond of our hearts
I once though unbreakable,
indestructible.
But your belief in indestructibility remained
ever fixed on what you built, that world
you fashioned even as you pointed
fingers and waxed lyrical.
Irreparable—
The word reverberates still though
its ring has become hollow, distant,
like the facade of the grand illusion
so many here are devoted to.
It crumbles.
Across the seas of time, in the sands
that slip through the hourglass, grains
of truth remain. I have loved you
and that love has been true .
And you?
What do you honor, other than
your staunch insistence that you are
the imperial holder of integrity,
defender of your good deeds
reflected
As mirage. I am no more mired in morass
and malaise, persistent fog of confusion
created by your diatribe and pointing fingers
that say it is I who is caught up in delusion.
Such intrusion,
Such blasphemy aside, this one thing
shall remain unbound, unbroken by all
that has been shattered, untouched by
fury and falsity, irrefutable, undeniable,
irrevocable:
We are born of light.
We are a gift of life.
We are a seed of love.
