While I have long cared little
for the riches of this world
long line of wisdom keepers
from which I have come command
Now that "what was taken be
returned in full, with interest
due to God who sees the heart.
Act with immediacy."
This she tells me to pass on.
I have just now understood.
Those who knew of siphoning,
saw me suffer, held their tongues
For they too had done what he
and she had done, stolen from me
long ago before I even knew
that people close could distance
Love in favor of some small
reward and think nothing of
stony hearts that harbor hate
for no reason at all. After
All these years, still she catches
my tears and tells me I have
not loved in vain. Let it rain
tomorrow, drown such sorrow.
And when this latest sorrow
is washed clean here too I will
not waver. With the Mothers
I will hold vigil, light this
Candle, raise its light for you
as you do what you must do.
"Do not tarry, whether one
by one or as trinity.
You will be forgiven, free,"
she says, but "must do right by
me." I know not who are three
and pray what runs through my heart
Is not another from whom
I must part, for I cannot
survive it or wish not to
anyway. How can it be
That you—what or wherever,
and whomever too—would prey
upon me a little child?
And what then of my mother?
Who and what would do this thing?
What pleasure could this then bring?
Should God or the Mothers make
it plain, share your name or what
And how such legacy was
taken, know I shall consent
removal of energy
I have given so freely
In ways—if you are who it
seems you are—that you have no
knowledge of but so soon will.
If true and you... to know how
I loved you
with whole heart
That
Will
Break
Open
Will yours?
