Apparently it has not yet become apparent—
meaning to the measure of the masses
and just what kind of traps have been laid
or even that there is another way.

More surprisingly to me, I am shown the mirror
of many is the measure of the man
and all the many men and women
who still fall in straight line one at a time.

For that matter alone I will carefully review
in the event that it may speak to you
or the others who forged in fire ire
against all that was innocent and pure.

First the matter of the ones who were used recklessly
as bait, from little children to big dogs—
their innocence too you preyed upon.
Heart of the child and children shall be held.

When this story is unfurled in full for all to see
you will lose everything and I will stand.
I, who did nothing but reach out my hand
to all of you, two by two, who betrayed.

Never mind the dragons slayed or how you mocked my faith.
All will be shown by God and God alone—
all the dark dabbling, perversions and shame
you cast on me, things bound meant to be free.

I will take no joy. Neither will I allow sorrow
to sweep away my gift of life, this light
you tried to dim, love you all have twisted.
I’ll not look away from mass casualty.

Neither will I forget what you each have done to me.
I do not yet know whether I will live
with so many of you having wished me
death, denied me simple right to be. See

How he weeps with you
and me.
