I have long been able to see
into both light and shadow
but aware of the need 
to hold the balance bright.

But the angry grandmothers on
both sides it seems, whether they
be blood or in spirit
advocate in this night

That falls upon our world heavy,
a cloak so constricting that
it has all but subsumed
those meant to bloom.

So permission has been granted
for me to see darkness move
in moment that it moves.
And so I may now choose

Not only to reveal those things
done to me or held against
me but to share, if I care,
all that brings light to bear.

I am now considering—and
not only I but many
others who were mocked
and ridiculed, bullied

By those weakened, by their own will
consenting to do evil,
bring harm to what belongs
to God and God alone.

I shall not succumb to lesser
desire to end this game
against me as it is
already over, done.

But I will from this moment on
seek to bring discernment and
to shed light in corners
overlooked for so long—

Not toward an individual
or even a group per se
and not past secrets,
how you have held sway...

May this be notification
of a change in dark regime.
What henceforth seeks to hurt
will be seen as dirt

To be washed clean and purified
by lights far greater than me.
Love says cease and desist
and embrace your own gifts. 

My work till now has been to show
how to do these things, to light
the way back home to soul
and how to be made whole.

Summon courage to make journey
that will reward you, make full 
what has felt so like lack. 
Seek light. Make your way back.
