the tiniest bird
on the windsill

just sitting still.

communion shared—

Sorrows released,
and prayers for your peace,
restoration

For all who would
turn to God and life's
recreation.

Tomorrow comes...
a new day dawning.
Night falls so fast.

Yesterday has
long outlived its use;
shadows now pass.

Today, birds say
look unto the hills,
to rising sun

That illumines
where others cast a
shadow. See glow,

Radiant realm
that will no more bow
to lesser things.
