It is one thing for the church
(body of Christ they call themselves)
to be in collusion with
vast societal delusion
and plead innocent. It is
quite another when able and
willing participants know
what gross injustice has been done,
meet in a presbytery,
message quick communication
to conspire
a coverup.
You who have defamed and maimed
not only me or my name but
God you claim to love and serve
are far worse than thieves and traders
in temple whose tables were
turned. You are abomination.
I see through veneer so clear.
My fervant prayer is exposure
for the one who wore the robe
and took it lightly, for one
who corrupted
faith of others.
As for the mastermind out
front and for all who played parts
in such sacrilegious scheme,
may it come to pass in the days
to come that all be known, shown
under a bright light scrutiny.
The inscrutability
of base behavior baffles,
especially when many have
children—not even a thought.
What has been taught?
What has been wrought?
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
