a quiet breath
lost between
water mirror sunlight
and
slow dreaming cloud shadows
circles a hawk
tears fall to crystal
open palm
forgotten screams
heard
where night dances
where flesh
whispers forgotten
blood
ice upon the window
open
just wind calls
the young man
home
just echoes fall
upon the homeless
Ahhh . . . You covered a hell of a lot of territory, i.e., emotion also within these short verses you have presented us tonight, Jude. Fast paced, multiple ideas and thoughts. Dizzying, but worth the read . . .
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
