such are the whispers
of silence
who dance as shadows
of lost wind rhymes
time
the chimes of moments
shattered windows
no beliefs left
to lie upon
empty hands
fingers open
sand dunes across
a wooden floor
the long yesterday
carries empty
when the banshee sighs
tomorrow tomorrow
if tomorrow
I have seen the shattered windows of abandoned dwellings and experienced sand dunes across the floor. So I believe I know where you are coming from with these words of gaunt reality.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
