if you
could see
just dance with me
ocean morning breeze
warm tears
leaving footprints
deep nights hold you
drinking away your dreams
till
castles fall to waves
under the pull of
yesterday's call
if a blind man could see
seasons turn
while leaves bleed
roads under the fall of snow
always know where to go
young man
traveler leaving his footprints
lonely ice
never twice
reasons yearn
across a young man's turn
if you could see
sweet road river long
daring to believe
I really love that, "sweet road river long"! Somehow I got a beat going on when I read that line! Oh, the imagery is all so should be put to music. Your words are fantastic!
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
