just blind poets
painting patterns
as if they could see
patterns lost
cohesive ideas
shattered
friends or not
where dare meet
unlike minds
shades of language
undefined
I find it interesting that depending on how WE see life
the poets words can be so meaningfully different
for each reader…
I also love the idea of words painting patterns to reflect
images…and conversely a picture can paint a thousand words…
It is remarkable how many readers are blind to the words that poets write. It is all in the language. Why sometimes the greatest poems are in very simple, universally understood, words. But words can paint "patterns" like images in the mind if the poet is skillful enough.
