the promise of pen to page...

Becomes the day…
when the pen…
guided by the winged arm of angels…
transfers the moment of thought to paper.

In the light and transference of spirit
from beyond…
I recognize the qualities of myself…
from somewhere in time.

With love and acceptance of this gift
given me in this life…
I choose to take the talents of my birth…
And awaken the soul.

As tattoo penetrates the flesh…
professing the differences
and images of self…
it is so…
the ink
within my hand…
permeate the page…
promise word of beauty…
graciously guided
by the penmanship of angels.

It Is So

...

I wish I wrote it... I guess that's the greatest complement a writer can get.

"...choose to take the talents of my birth...and awaken the soul..."
With what simplicity we can create literary gold nuggets wrapped in an unforgetable metaphore.
