The Power of Red

Pen a write in red.

Is your ego showing?

Are you angry or overbearing?

Who knows, it’s too hard to be read.

Red has its own persona.

I’ve heard it said, “red

is the color or fire and plasma,

desire, love, power, strength and is seldom misread.”

Red’s “emotional” qualities

increase respiration,

may cause trepidation,

and intensify the thump, thump of your heart!

Your energy needs a boost.

You want to inspire confidence.

You need protection.

You want attention.

Wear red.  Wear RED!

The more intense this color,

the more your energy will soar.

But, be careful you don’t intimidate.

Many national flags use red

to reflect the country’s courage,

bravery, valor and gallantry.

It displays their solidarity.

A red car is flashy,

and on the highway is usually speedy.

It will catch the patrol officer’s eye.

Likewise, an incredible low-cut red dress.

When all is said and done,

Remember: 

Red might give you courage and strength,

but don’t wave a red cape at bull

For its horns might stab you, fool!
