Guilt is a true culprit in that I myself feel that I can never give enough...never love enough...never comfort enough...never...never...never....but thats that me....this is a great write.

I agree my friend, if we live our life carefully and do our best we should have no regrets. I also think we should live life to the fullest enjoying every opportunity we can grasp, afterall we only have one life to live! Enjoyed!

Kathy I am with you all the way as I have always said I will leave this world with no REGRETS. I live and love life to the fullest, WHY? because I only have one to live. I treat all as I chose to be treated. One cool way to put it and your usual cool fonts! I like the way the last half "evolves" to the real stuff of admitting we need higher guidance. Most egoists would have ended this poem halfway through! Not you and I say not me, I trust a higher power in my life too.

I think the only regret we could possibly have is not to learn from what happened. Some of my greatest learning was from things I thought I was doing right but didn't get all the desired results.

I have to agree with you, living with regret means that you just aren't trusting yourself and your higher power. We all make mistakes, so we learn from them and we grow..never regret, good wisdom from a beautiful soul.

No regrets? I have to agree with Walt. I have several tucked away in the back of my closet with a skeleton or two I'm sure. At 55, I have no regrets about where I'm at and who I am, but I regret it took me so long to get here. ;~) Well done Kathy and very well said. God bless ya.
