Thank you Kathy--and thank you all.
When complications arose and I had to leave so suddenly, the rarity of a computer connection left me lonely and homesick. But when I do manage to get on, all your love lets me know I'm not alone.
Thank you all for the welcome into the world. It does look like Grammy's little pumpkin will be getting out of NICU tomorrow and I will be heading home.
Jet black hair in a family of tow-headed boys, this child is going to be a standout.
Love you all--thank you--and soon I will be home on my own computer.

grandchildren, what special gifts to grandparents -- at eight pounds thirteen ounces he is a healthy fellow it sounds -- I was almost thirteen pounds at birth! -- I know why I was not my mother's favorite child -- some of my relatives said I was born fully dressed toting a suitcase! -- I am 5' 11" and have never weighed more than 165 lbs in my entire life -- from my weight at birth everyone said they expected me to be a very heavy man in adulthood -- wrong! -- good to see another of your wonderful poems Kathy -- JMW
