Sisters

Sisters, tried and true
Where would I be without you?
Your words of advice …
Your unintentional malice …
The laughter that we shared …
The hugs … the love … showing how much we cared.
Gone is our youth
Do you want to hear my truth?
I long for the good ole’ days
When we talked about life’s pathways
I miss the secrets that we used to share
Afraid that our fears were beyond compare
Your smile and laughter would brighten my day
I was afraid someday you would go away
We may not be as close as we once were
But, having you in my life has made me better
May all your tomorrows be filled with blessings
As I send you my love and musings
in this world, then having sisters or brothers
to turn to, we are 7 bothers and sisters
and non can care less.....
some are lucky and blessed
I don't know what I am
Love & peace be with you

But the poeme does justice to a sister that could be described as two parts of a Oreo glue together with love.

This somes it up with those of us lucky enough to have a sister. This reminded me so much of mine, she recently had a birthday and I couldn't be there with her. Lovely and thoughtful poem.
