Happy Father’s Day – My Love

I tried to write you a poem

The words were jumbled and felt trite

So, from my heart I decided to write

As a Dad you rank among the very, very best

Your love and kindness is even more evident

When your children are about

I remember the first time I saw you with your son

Your love showed through your eyes

The kind (of love) melted my heart

I know you were a good Dad

I see the trust your sons have in you …

It comes through in all you and they do

I am so glad that you made my son’s last days

A memory that I will always treasure

You are amazing

To the man who incorporates all the

Qualities of a first-rate Dad
