loneliness is a monster
it will consume you
eating away at your
life your soul your heart
noone to turn to
loneliness backs you in a corner
and beats the hell outta you
your smiles and joy all lies
in the face of loneliness
lonilness locks you in a cradle
of fear and self-pity
no way out crying in the dark
trying to climb out pulled down lower
loneliness kills you from the inside out
climbing climbing at the top
almost free laughing talking
enjoying life................ loneliness found me
Dear God help me find my way out again

well done-as for me when i get really lonely i involve myself in the lives of others who need someone to listen to them and suddenly I don't feel lonely anymore
It is so true, whether you are lonely because you have no one, the someone you have is far away, or you are just lonely inside...the pain of heart isolation is one of the truly worst and you captured this so well in your words. Looking forward to reading more of your work.
