When I come to

my dying day,

I won't be able

to hear the words

you have to say.

Tell me now

how you feel.

That way I'll know

your love is  truly real.

Don't wait until I'm gone,

by then it'll be too late.

Tell me now, so I can hear

your words and appreciate.

This is something that

we are all guilty of.

We always wait until someone's gone,

to show our affection and love.

Take this time

to recognize those

you hold so dear.

Tell them how much you love them ,

while they are here.

Beautiful message. So often we forget to say I love you to the ones that mean the most to us.

Everything you said and express in this poem, you are 120% right in everything that you written. Its always important to tell their loved ones how much you truly love them without going back and saying "I should have said this or said that".Sometimes people would take life for granted and people that are truly close to them whether they are your family and friends.I enjoy reading this poem and I can honestly say that when someone reads this poem, they will truly become better human beings in my opinion and start saying those 3 words that are important "I Love You".take care and Happy B lated New Year

Oh I could not agree with you more. Why do people wait until it is too late, never really understood that...

Be always safe,
Karen
