there is a fire we hold within
sacred element of the earth
and how like nature is a human
to know it has the power

to look and wonder what it is
something i touch or smoke
is only to observe the flame
and not to truly know it

take the reins and harness fire
live it.. breathe it.. own it..
become the flame itself
a heated fever that burns within
warming souls from inside out

it is passion for life a desire for you
that aches and brings you to your knees
knowing you can not wait one moment more
to quench the thirst that burns you

and temper hot that smells of dragons
a tongue of flame lashes out
spiting lava known as words
knowing someone had to say it

it is then you feel the power
and know what it can do
would you use it to protect yourself
or would you just be cruel

i take the fire and blend it in
with earth and air and water
knowing with each piece i am
i create a greater whole
