what would it take to heal the world

a witches brew
a genies wish
a wizards spell
or fairy dust

a potion of something made up of love
mixed from jars on a shelf

memories i've stored
inside small bottles
and saved for moments like this

the love from a woman
that snuggles a baby
sleeping within her arms

the feeling she has
while stroking its head
and feeling the hair so soft

the love from a man to the
woman he adores
that he would die before
allowing anything harm her

the feeling he has
while holding her close
and she gazes into
his eyes

love is the feeling that
sheds the tears when
we loose our favorite pet

love is our eyes misting over
from feeling so loved
by a friend

love is the help
not asked for
when we are sad
or financially unable

the awe struck moment
of sunrise/sunset and
natural wonders that
remind us there is
something greater

mix this all up and create a potion
and set it free in the wind
may we breathe it all in
and become it all
then share it fully with all beings

what would it take to heal the world

lets make a potion
from you and
from me and then
we will wait and see
