the morning was foggy on the lunar standstill tho’ the yard be active with creatures wild wearing feathers or hooves, and along the fence scurried a stealth raccoon you tend to the fire adding fuel and ideal stirring the embers of conscious thought projection of probable, potential of principle significant aspects of complex tasks and I’m not sure I heard all you had to say as I lost my senses while your hips swayed and you emphasized your point with those perfect lips I notice my fingers now entwining a lock of my hair, a certain flush of the moment when eyes penetrate the surface and stare embedded into a depth of exhilarating invigorating my relinquish of depletion thrusting a powerful grinding sensation as you explain what is sacred
evocative is the word for this...along with phrases like well written and just plain good.
There is something very haiku'ish about this piece...and while I normally don't care for all lower case verse, in this piece it works adding to the feel of a flow of thought or memory.
Excellent work!
I enjoyed this one with its little complexities and twin images such as the racoon outside and the conversation inside. Well presented and interesting to read.
I LIKE!! You somehow capture that sudden frisson of poignant and potent memory that can be triggered by no more than a snapping twig or hint of a scent. A window where the emotional, spiritual and physical are caught up and shaken together like a breeze... and who knows where the pieces will fall THIS time? Atmospheric, evocative and captivating.
