The Mayan Oracle reminds us that: At a certain point when a critical threshold of energy has been focused on a clear intent such as world peace, the underlying constructs of reality shift and a new reality begins filtering into human experience. Make no mistake: great change is seeded by conscious dreamers who understand and know that they are co-creating the larger dream.

Poem Artwork

in the distance I hear the sounds
of a traveling freight train
clicking its rails and sounding out load
as it travels nightly through this town

my thoughts expand beyond the night
into the realms beyond our sight
where patience and compassion reign
and worries not, claims the fame

emotions fall aboard the train
of grief and strife, guilt or shame
and anyone, anywhere
feeling desperate in their pain

for life and nature are many things
playing tricks, illusions, games
all designed to stake a claim
as our reality shifts within

release attachment to the outcome
in all that you intend
for everything will fall together
in more ways than you can ever pretend

You've taken me back a few years to a ride into Boston on the T on a visit after I had moved South. Barren, smileless faces...contemplative and pained...listening to the sounds and appearing lifeless hopeless...or was it the illusion you refer to, as I had become one more accustomes to similes and animation. nd when the traain stopped, everyone went their own way. Faces of the masses are as thought provoking as the words in your poem, Debby. Beautifully constructed as always. Your work is a pleasure to read.

An interesting and thought-provoking write, Debby. Very well written, and it's always good when you can induce your readers to think about things.
Love,
CJ
