dreaming the adventure feels at times like a reel of film often watching yourself as you star in your imagination defying all laws of existence such as gravity flying and levitation are effortless infinite supporting characters evolving landscapes and set designs where the dead live again and the future may be previewed there are times I know the characters so well having met them over and over and I know not their names familiar places where I am able to describe the gardens or location of rooms knowing they only exist while I sleep and yet I’ve smelled their fragrances touched their surfaces and felt, oh yes felt emotions deep enough to penetrate into my awakening state perhaps they are reasons to déjà vu curious the adventure feels at times like a masterpiece theatre where you are the director and have relinquished control to the master mind the creation impromptu gathered of the collective thoughts and daily soup of archetypical formulations its purpose of what, or how, or why perhaps rests in the subconscious mind as individual as the dream of the dreamer
good poetry...at least in my view...is poetry that comes from the heart, tells a story, informs, teaches and touches chords within the hearts of others...usually for different reasons.
This piece is good poetry.
Wow Debby what a formulation within a formulation you have penned here! Excellent work, those final lines of 13 (a lucky number here);0) just cinch the whole piece nice and tight! I am glad to have stopped by!
You have articulated this phenomenon so excellently here, Debby. Right on the button! Yes, for me the fragrances are so strong in my most vivid dreams... and taste. When situations repeat with ever-increasing detail and momentum, I wonder what's afoot... I have yet to find out! Fascinating and well-sketched for us, thank you. Kate xx
A déjà-vu is like savoring the same taste of previous lovers one's dreaming of, or the renewal of the final curtain and the applause we receive from our thoughs, or....formulations, the dream of a dreamer?
Very Good!!!

you gave us something to ponder here Debby and you were right I did sound judgemental on Tom and scientology. I've read up on it and scientolgist don't seem to give God much credit but they do speak of truth and positive things. to me it still sounds like they don't want to recognize God, seems more like an evolution thing to me and believing in nothing but science. I'll read some more on it. You can go back and read the beginning of my poem again and see what I added, I didn't minus nothing. Believe it or not I'm against being judgemental....
this poem speaks so much of the creative thought process that combines with our imagination, hearts and souls to create the realy good work that we feel proudist of. Wow now that was a bit of a run on sentence...
