the smells of cloves and cinnamon simmering in warm chai tea the spices linger and take ahold reeling the senses beyond control within ourselves all things exist we think know and then we don’t to feel the wonder of it all the blessing is to amplify... the luminosity be the change you wish to be endeavor to embody... the quality come into awareness, aspire for wholeness hold the intention to be at peace and by all means enjoy a cup of tea
Tea is uplifting, I like a cup too, enjoy any kind but like the strong English Teas. My penpal brought me some and I can buy English Tea in the grocers too. I love my tea strong. It embodies the soul, and gives you a peaceful feeling. I know my wholeness is due To God, but becoming aware of myself takes some doing and to find peace is taking some work too.
As I am prone to do, when I try to get caught up, I go back and see what I have missed...
This delightful poem caught my attention immediately...
First, I am an avid tea drinker, although, I prefer green tea and earl grey to chai...but then, there are times when chai will only do.
Your composition in this piece with a blend of alliteration, internal and end rhymes gives it a lyrical sound when recited...
My friend, this is beautiful work.

Aromas, flavors, sights, sounds - each in their own way can take us somewhere unexpected and deeply satisfying. I love this poem and wish there were somewhere around my small town that I could get a good chai latte.
One of my favorites Debby - everything about Chai is satisfying.
"amplify... the luminosity" is truly an endearing phrase too! It's raining like a mother here today - a cup of simmering tea sounds delightfully efficacious. Thanks for the idea!

Home. You didn't say a word - I didn't ask why,
I took the bag to the hut and wiped the blindness
from my eyes. Remember? It was just another beautiful day -
I brought the wood - you lit the fire for Chai.
I had to laugh when I saw the title, I had just finished a cup of Chai tea.My neice always buys me the Bentleys assorted teas, which I love! This poem is just as wonderful, with a wisdom message to boot! Thanks Debby, good to see you;-)
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.

A lesson for us all, and a hot cup of tea sounds pretty good, too.
